Faheem Rahman, Guest Writer
Faheem Rahman was Editor of Creativity of The Daily Howl (during the 2019-20 and 2020-2021 school year) at Castaic and is now a guest writer. She is passionate about art, film, photography, music, and fashion. Faheem explores this more with her company SparkLoveArt, where she uploads her concert photography and writes about her style. She enjoys going to concerts for indie and rock bands. Some of her favorite bands are Wallows, The Regrettes, Nirvana, The Beatles, and Hunny. She has been modeling for years now and aspires to be a part of New York Fashion Week when she is older. She is motivated by trying to make a difference in the world, which is why she started her non-profit organization, 1 to 10. 1 to 10 is where she donates hygiene products to local psychiatric hospitals. She has always been an activist, volunteering at the March For Our Lives in Santa Clarita, and LA Women’s March 2019. Faheem is part of the Hart District Student Site Council where she hopes to help make school a better place for those with economic and mental disadvantages. She is also Castaic High School’s ASB Secretary, to further help make school enjoyable for all of its students. Faheem’s dream is to go to Columbia University and eventually have a career in photography, fashion, law, or politics.
