Review: LA Fitness, one of the bigger gyms in Santa Clarita, is a great option. The subscription is well worth the price. It may seem a little expensive but all the great amenities such as personal training and the great variety of gym equipment make the price well worth it. It’s also a great option for parents who need daycare, The Kids Klub offers an area to drop off children while you work out, no other gyms in the valley offer a perk like this. The hours are also flexible, it’s open for those who want to work out very early in the morning and for those who can’t make it to the gym till late.

“Yes I do like all [the amenidies] mainly the weight room and basketball courts,” said Gavyn Circcincione, a Junior on Castaic’s Varsity Basketball team who has a subscription to LA Fitness.

While Cirricione does use these amenities daily, he does wish LA Fitness had a recovery center with cryotherapy chambers and compression pants for muscle relief. Cirrincione. Notably, LA Fitness has a friendly environment with a great community and it’s enjoyable to work out there he leaves the gym happy all the time

“It’s a great community the people are very nice and so is the staff I enjoy my time here,” said Cirincione. He appreciates the friendly culture and community at LA Fitness.“I am happy here at LA Fitness.”

Finally, the Passport Gold Promo at $39.95 and offers recovery beds and tanning in addition to all the other amenities of the former plans.

Review: There are more options compared to LA Fitness such as nutrition counseling and the pro shop. But LA Fitness does offer cheaper prices than Golds Gym

“There are a lot of free weights that I’m able to use. I also enjoy the cardio cinema where you can run while watching a movie” says junior, Leila Azodi who attends Golds Gym. However, at times Azodi feels that the gym is too populated but its positive and accepting environment makes up for it. In the future, Azodi plans on switching gyms to something more private; “Yes, I’m hoping to find a new gym to go to preferably private so there are not too many people around.”

Leila Azodi Junior who goes to Golds Gym expressed her joy with the great amenities of Gold’s gym “Ya Although it has great amenities she explained how

“Everyones [is] very caring and charismatic and willing to help anyone,” says junior, Josh Guzman who attends Golds Gym. He enjoys the great equipment and classes that are given at Golds and loves the environment. In the future, he hopes Gold Gym will expand to add more machinery. Overall, Guzman is satisfied with the amenities and social aspects of the gym. He sees himself staying loyal to the gym for the foreseeable future.

3.24 Hour Fitness

Review: 24 Hour fitness is a very mediocre option although it offers a great price and flexible hours it lacks amenities. It has no special area for the children like LA Fitness or nutrition counseling, it just offers things that are in every normal gym such as trainers, pools, and weights. With only one in Santa Clarita, it makes it harder to go to the gym and it becomes less accessible to people.
