Annika Baker, Staff Writer
Annika Baker is a staff writer for The Daily Howl at Castaic High School. She joined journalism with the goal of informing others, as well as expressing her individual perspectives on imperative subjects. Emphasizing her substantial interest in detective work within the broad field of forensics and criminology, Annika desires to incorporate her skills in writing with her knowledge in criminal justice in order to pursue a career as an investigative journalist. Beyond this pathway, she aspires to publish her own creative writing pieces, and eventually earn the title as a #1 New York Times Bestselling Author. At a young age, Annika developed an immense passion for both reading and writing fantasy, mystery, and thriller novels. As an extremely diligent student, she has achieved numerous awards throughout her school years, including receiving an invitation from College of the Canyons to join the National Honor Society for Leadership and Success.
