Ryan Kent is a staff writer for The Daily Howl at Castaic High School. This is his first year with journalism and he is enthusiastic about being able to write creative poems and interviewing people for articles. Kent is also looking forward  to becoming a more professional writer. His intent is to shine a light on the topics that people take for granted and produce creative writing articles that will shine a new light on everyday things. He usually spends his free time reading, listening to music, or creating posters to hang up in their room.
