Alan Benavides is a staff writer for  The Daily Howl, Castaic High School’s journalism program.  He is committed to writing about topics which Castaic students will actually be interested in and showing the school how the articles they read are important. He has been an avid reader and writer throughout his life and is showing this through the Castaic Journalism platform.  He enjoys soccer, video games, riding dirtbikes and quads, and hanging out with friends. He has always enjoyed writing about things he feels passionate about while also looking for new topics to cover.  His passion for the subjects he writes about adds to the emotion and feeling that you can get while reading one of his articles.
