This issue of Commending our Coyotes is a Holiday Edition. As students became more thankful for their teachers this season, it presented itself in a flood of submissions. This issue features nearly seven times the normal amount! Some notes are even combined, as multiple students wanted to share their gratitude with the same teacher. In conclusion, this issue is more lengthy, but keep scrolling for there are so many beautiful sentiments to be read…

Mr. Turski:
He has helped me a lot. Before I used to be really bad in some things math-related like factoring, but he has taught me so well, that now I feel like I am a master of that. Also, his honors class has a really fun environment and he is super strong at math, which is evident in the way he is so great at teaching complex topics, solving the same problem but in a different way, and answering crazy math questions.
Thank you!
Mrs. Graves:
She is a very helpful advisory teacher that we can ask for any help with anything during the short time we have with her.
Thank you!
Mrs. Hagman:
She has been helping me with problems on campus, and during distance learning, because I have many issues going on in life. She’s such a great person and she always helps everyone.
Thank you!
Mr Williams:
He has been so supportive and helped me catch up where I was falling behind. He’s helped me focus on school and realize what’s important to me and how I can achieve it.
Thanks for all the help and support Mr. Williams “The Incorruptible”.
Thank you!
Mrs. Delawder:
She is so understanding and listens to all my worries. She always helps to put things into perspective and gives you the space to share.
Thank you!
Mrs. Schwartz:
You make raising money for the theatre program easier. You are so wonderful to work with and always have time to share ideas and do the jobs I struggle to complete on a daily basis. Thank you for being awesome.
Thank you!
Mrs. Soares:
I would like to thank my Spanish teacher, Mrs. Soares, for helping me understand how to pronounce some of the Spanish numbers. This made an impact by helping me know how to say the words correctly in the future.
I only have her for advisory but she is so positive and always puts me in a better mood when I join the class. She truly cares about how her students are feeling and want to help. Also, she always makes our advisory class super fun and talks with all of us. I always look forward to going to her class and the topics we talk about are super fun.
She always encourages us to participate and she keeps me happy and my mind off the fact that we are actually on a zoom call. Mrs. Soares is always nice, always making everyone laugh, and helps me with whatever she can. She is just a great person in general. Mrs. Soares makes us feel normal and she is awesome. I love being in her class and I can’t wait to see her in person.
Lastly, she is overall amazing.
Thank you!
Mr. Jensen:

Mrs. Hyde:
She is one of my most understanding teachers so far in my school year. Her class is always my favorite. She makes every lesson interesting and fun and she is so nice and understanding when it comes to online school. Whenever I go to her class I am stress-free. Thank you, Mrs. Hyde, for making online school less stressful!
Thank you!
Mrs. Mistry:
She helps me feel safe and comfortable.
Thank you!
Mrs. Beard:
She has made an impact because she makes our class feel like we are in school instead of feeling like we are online. She also always makes time for us.
Thank you!
Mrs. Perez:
She helped me get my mental health straight when I was falling behind in Spanish.
Also, Mrs. Perez is always so fun and enthusiastic in class and takes the stress away from french, and I am still learning so much even though we are online!
Thank you!
Coach Maysen:
She is pushing me out of my comfort zone and letting me be on the cheer team.
Thank you!

He went over an art assignment in a break out room.

Mrs. Hardbarger:
She tries to the best of her abilities to make sure every student understands what is going on and gives additional help whenever needed. She’s a great teacher and I’m glad to have her in my hardest class.
Also, she made an impact on my life and the beginning of my freshman year by being very happy and positive 24/7. She is also very understanding and helpful when it comes to assignments you are struggling with.
Thank you!
Mr. Hodge:
He is a great person.

Mr. Marcucilli:
He encourages us to participate in events and teaches us about impactful things that would not normally be a part of ASB. He is a funny and interesting teacher that always makes me ready for a laugh.
